Riverside sells four plans. Recording hours are unlimited on all of them, so the limits that separate the plans are the number of studios (one per show or client), the hours of separate-track downloads each month, and which tools are switched on. A free trial of 14 days is offered on Pro, Grow and Webinar.
| Plan | Month to month | Per month, billed yearly | 12 months at the yearly rate | Saved over 12 months | Studios | Track hours a month |

Riverside advertises up to 20% off for yearly billing. On Pro the gap is smaller, 17%, because Pro's monthly price is $35 and its yearly rate $29. The figure draws what a creator actually spends: month-to-month billing climbs by $35 each month you stay, while the yearly rate is a fixed $348 for the whole year.
Riverside Pro: monthly billing against the yearly rate
Dollars spent over a year. Red: month to month. Teal: the yearly rate for all 12 months.
The lines cross at 9.9 months on Pro, 9.6 on Grow and 9.6 on Webinar. In practice that is ten months. If you only need Riverside to record a single season of a show, month to month is cheaper; if it is your standing recording tool, the yearly rate is the plan to pick.
The price steps are small next to the capability steps. Moving from Pro to Grow adds live streaming, multistreaming, a creator website and social scheduling, and doubles the studios from one to two. Moving from Grow to Webinar adds registration, Q&A, polls and HubSpot sync. Anything past 100 registrants, SSO or API access is Business.
What each Riverside plan unlocks
Read from the plan cards and compare table, 29 October 2026.
Which plan fits follows from the rows that are not ticked on the cheaper plan. A podcaster who records and publishes needs Pro. Someone who also streams live, or runs two shows, needs Grow. Someone running registered webinars needs Webinar, because Riverside states that Grow is not enough. For what Riverside is like to use against its closest rival, see Riverside against StreamYard and the StreamYard pricing page.
Riverside Grow at $36 a month billed yearly is within a cent of StreamYard Core at $35.99, and $45 against $44.99 month to month. The prices are close; what you get for them is not the same, so use the comparison for that decision.
Reviews of Riverside quote two sets of yearly prices, $24 and $34 on one side and $29 and $36 on the other. Both are on Riverside's pricing page. The plan cards and the compare table, which agree with each other, show Pro at $29 and Grow at $36. A line in the FAQ lower down says Pro drops from $29 to $24 and Grow from $39 to $34.
Riverside prices itself two ways on one page
Yearly price per month. Grey is the number in Riverside's FAQ text; red is the plan card above it.
We printed the lower figures for Riverside Pro and Grow on this site before today and corrected them on the price dataset. The numbers match that FAQ text, which is the likeliest source, but we cannot prove where each reviewer got theirs. The practical advice is the same: use the plan card, and check the price at checkout before you pay.
Each month we re-read these pages and list what moved. We have not started sending yet; we will only email when we do.
Riverside Pro is $35 a month month-to-month or $29 a month on the yearly rate. Grow is $45 or $36, and Webinar is $99 or $79. Business is priced through sales. These are US list prices read on riverside.com/pricing on 29 October 2026, before tax.
If you will use Riverside for about ten months or more in a year, yes: the yearly rate saves $72 on Pro, $108 on Grow and $240 on Webinar over twelve months, between 17% and 20%. For a one-off project of a few months, month-to-month costs less overall. We did not start a trial, so we have not seen whether the yearly rate is taken as one payment or monthly with a twelve-month commitment; the twelve-month total is the same either way.
When we read the page on 29 October 2026 the plan cards and compare table showed Pro at $29 and Grow at $36 on the yearly rate, while a line in the FAQ said Pro drops to $24 and Grow to $34. The cards and table agree with each other, so we treat the FAQ as the stale text. The $24 and $34 figures match that FAQ, which is the likeliest source of the same numbers in reviews and on this site before today; we cannot prove where each reviewer got theirs.
Riverside says you need at least Webinar. Grow includes live streaming and multistreaming, but registration, Q&A, polls, automated email reminders, HubSpot sync and webinar analytics are only on the Webinar plan. Webinar caps a session at 100 registrants; the Business plan goes to 10,000.
Riverside says an extra editor seat is available as an add-on on Pro, Grow and Webinar. The pricing page does not state the add-on price. Collaborative editing and custom roles are built into Business only.
