YouTube Shorts Clipper

Paste a long-form transcript with timestamps, get the top 5 candidate Short clips ranked by keyword density, emotional cue density, listicle structure, and self-contained framing. Heuristic only; pairs with real video tooling.

Honesty notice: no algorithm can reliably predict which clip goes viral. This tool finds the moments most likely to feel self-contained at 30-60 seconds based on text signals only. Visual hook, audio quality, pacing, and thumbnail-worthy framing still decide what works; pair this with manual review.

Actually cut the clip

This tool finds the moments. Cutting, captioning, and vertical-reframing still needs a real tool. Submagic and Opus Clip both do AI-driven Shorts cutting with auto-captions; Descript handles the full editing flow with text-based trims.

How clip-worthiness is scored

Each candidate window (30, 45, or 60s) inside the transcript is scored across 4 dimensions: keyword density (topic keyword + repeats), emotional cue density (arousal words, contrasts, numbers, brackets), list / structure signal ("first," "second," "the trick is," "nobody tells you"), and self-contained framing (starts with a setup line, ends with a reveal or punchline). Windows that overlap by more than 50% are deduplicated; the top 5 by composite score surface here. Text-only signal. Visual hook, audio quality, and pacing decide what actually performs.
