A price on this site is a reading of a vendor page on a date. When a later reading, or a closer look at the same page, shows a figure we printed was wrong or incomplete, the fix goes in this log with the old figure beside the new one. The same rows are published as a data file for anyone who wants to check or reuse them.

Types: price is a number that did not match the page; basis is a real price shown without saying whether it is month to month or billed yearly; gap is a plan we named without a price; claim removed is a statement we could not source; figure is a count of ours; site error is a mistake in this site's own links or chart text.
Five of the ten price errors, drawn against the vendor figure. Of the other five, the Riverside plus StreamYard Core total follows from the Riverside Pro correction, and the four microphones (Shure SM7B and MV7+, Rode PodMic and PodMic USB) are on a different scale and sit in the log above. The direction is the pattern: every one sat below the page.
Five prices we printed, against what the vendor page showed
US dollars a month. Riverside and TubeBuddy rows are the yearly rate per month; Kling is month to month.
Where the wrong figures came from is only partly known. The Riverside pair matches stale FAQ lines on the vendor page, described below, which is the likeliest source. The TubeBuddy figures and the Kling first-month price we cannot trace. The fix is the same: read the page, date the reading, and keep both billing bases.
On 29 October 2026 Riverside's pricing page showed Pro at $29 and Grow at $36 billed yearly on its plan cards and compare table. A line in the FAQ lower down said Pro drops from $29 to $24 and Grow from $39 to $34. The cards and table agree with each other, so we treat the FAQ as the stale text and print the card prices. The full comparison is on the Riverside pricing page.
These numbers or claims are on this site and have not been read from a primary page. Treat them as leads until a date appears beside them.
A log of only mistakes would overstate them, so here is what we also re-read and left alone.
If a price here does not match a vendor's page, send us the page address through the contact page. We re-read it, change the number if the page shows what you say, and add the row here. That includes vendors: no payment, sponsorship or placement changes a price, a position or a correction on this site. Sponsored placements are labelled elsewhere and never alter a figure.
Each month we re-read these pages and list what moved. We have not started sending yet; we will only email when we do.
Yes, and it lists each one on this page. Since 28 October 2026 we have logged 17 corrections: 10 prices that were lower than the vendor page, and the rest billing bases we left out, a plan with no price, a claim we could not source, a citation count, and 2 errors in our own links and chart text. Each row says what we printed, what the source showed and when we read it.
We read the vendor's own pricing page, logged out, on a stated date, and record both the month-to-month and the billed-yearly figure where the page shows them. A price we could not read is left off or marked as not read; we do not fill it from a review site.
No. Payment never changes a price, a position or a correction. If a figure on this site does not match your pricing page, send us the page address through the contact page and we will re-read it. We change a number when the page shows it, and we say so here.
When we read riverside.com/pricing on 29 October 2026, its plan cards showed Pro at $29 and Grow at $36 billed yearly, while a line in its FAQ said Pro drops to $24 and Grow to $34. We follow the plan cards and tell readers to confirm the price at checkout.
